The ones that are stock on the Mazda 6 do not blink. I had a neon that had the same thing, so I wired them to my turn signals, put a clear lense, and a hyper white led and they blinked and it looked sweet. I do not know if I will do the same on the 6. Depends when and who will have the clear side markers.

I think I'm gonna head out to my dealer and check the side markers on the Protege. Those seem to be the same size and orientation as the Atenza's, although I've only looked at both in pictures.
