Highbeams - driver side is brighter than passenger

I recently installed Xenon super whites for my high beams and the driver side is almost twice as bright as the passenger side. Any ideas?

if you fiddled with your aim adjustments on the housing MAKE SURE you fiddled with BOTH up/down adjusters, not just the one! if you only adjusted one then the aim will be out of wack. (trust me i went through this!) i was annoyed after adjusting my lights because it seemed like i just could not get the passenger side to light up as high as the drivers side; and this in turn made it SEEM not as bright. like, when i would be behind another car at night i would see the reflection of the drivers headlight but not the passenger one. and for as much as i would keep adjusting it up i STILL could not get them to line up (as a reflection off another car). i came to find there is TWO up/down adjusters for the lights and you have to adjust both somewhat equally otherwise it puts the beam pattern out of wack. there is one in the fender and there is one straight down behind each housing, perpendicular to the other adjusters. if you look down behind each housing you will be staring at it.

They are adjusted right but the drivers side bulb is just brighter and whiter than the other. Is it possible that side is getting more power?

swap the bulbs and see if the problem reverses.

One step ahead. I swapped the bulbs thinking that it would show me that I need more bulbs. Anyway, the driver side is still much brighter.
