installing parking lights

I have the 6i and after looking at some of the instructions with pictures online, I realized that my airbox has only 2 of the grey metal clips on the far outside (unlike 4 clips as described in one of the instructions, I think that one was a 6s), the inside I couldn't get off. So I could only raise the airbox cover on one side. It's enough to remove the filter inside but not enough to create room so I can replace my 194 parking lights. Could someone help me out?

I've removed the black electrical connector, the green one, the hose clamp, and the small hose attached in the front. What else do I have to remove to get the airbox out? It seem slike it has screws holding it in from under.

Well if it is like my V6, pull straight up from the bottom of the box, they are just snap-ons at the bottom to hold it in place, it took a good bit of force the first time for me.

I also need help on installing the parking lights. I just finished changing my low beams and now I need my parking lights to match the color. Can anyone post pics of changing the parking lights? I have the V6 and it has very little room to work in. Please help me out.

do a search on "parking bulb airbox" there are at least two sources where people posted instructions with pictures. They helped me, after removing the black electrical connector, the green one, the small tube in front, and the main hose from the airbox, you just have to jiggle it loose and pull up. In the 6i, I think the airbox cover cannot be completely separated from the airbox. After that's done the driver's side is easy since the airbox removal frees a lot of space. On the passenger side, I didn't have to remove anything, I just used a plier to reach in there and grab the parking bulb holder and pull straight back ( no twisting). Make sure you are pulling on the right one, move it around and look from the front to see that you're tugging at the right thing.

Make sure to plug ALL THE CONNECTORS for the airbox back in, BEFORE starting the car.

Otherwise the car will start and immediately shut off and throw a CEL.
