anyone replaced parking lights?

Has anyone replaced their front parking lights with 194 LEDs? If so, how smooth did the install go?

I'll be doing mine, just not with LEDs with some super white 194's I picked up at pep boys. I'll be doing mine when I change my low beams to silverstars from the liteswap group buy so I'll yank out the airbox and move the coolant so I have decent access to both. I think thats how most people are getting to those.

2006 Titanium Grey Mazdaspeed 6 - now only mostly stock...

I ordered the super white 194 LEDs too. I've read on the forum that they're very ez to install, I already changed the lowbeams to Xenon's.

They're probably the easiest of all the bulbs...

Yeah, pull the airbox for the driver's side; for passenger side, you'll need to get under there and drop the windshield washer bottle, although you don't have to remove it (just leave it layin in the fender)... and yeah, I think moving the coolant bottle will buy you a little more room.

All bulbs on passenger side are pretty easy... driver's side low can be a bit nerve-racking but be patient... and you do NOT have to drop the bumper to swap any bulbs... I'm living proof...

I second that about the bumper removal. I guess if your hands are really big u might have to do this but otherwise a real timewaster. Just a little patience and it should only take a few minutes to replace the lowbeams.

added amber 4 led bulbs to front parking lights. took almost 10 minutes and did not remove anything in engine bay. the amber bulbs look like 2 evil eyes.

I have to admit that the driver's side lowbeam was a booger to change though.

thanx ya'll....i thought i had read somewhere that LEDs didn't fit or looked to big in place of the current parking light. I just wanted to see if people had done it. Fantastic...i'll be replacing my parking light and fog lights as soon as they come in=).
