Weird fog light wiring

My 6s came with the sports package and the fog lights are in the bottom of the bumper, not in the headlight housing. Does this seem right? From what I have been reading on this forum, my car seems a bit out of wack. From reading on this site, other 6s's with the sports package have the fog lights in the headligth housing. Is this correct or am I just lucky. I haven't checked to see if my headlight housing has wiring for the fog light, since i have an empty light socket in my headlight housing.

Are you sure you have the sports package? As of now the fog light located in the bumper are not available for the sportsbumper. You can also check to see if you have the foglights in the headlight housing by turning your lights on and looking in the housing. I would assume that because you have an S that you have the fog lights in the headlight housing.
It would help if you could provide pics of your car for better judgement.
Also, check your sticker(w/ the MSRP on it) that came with the car.

doesn't sound right...do you have the eltroilluminescent guages? if you don't have those, you may have gotten an appearance package, which looks like the sports package?

I don't think you have the sport package, unless your dealer got the foglights from Japan and installed them for you. Do you have some pictures of the front of your car?

What size wheels does your car have...17 or 16?

What color is the interior,,,,black or another color?

Just to add to this as well...

I really don't think you have the Sports package. The reasons mentioned above just lead all of us to believe that you don't have it. The appearance package is almost like the sports package.. however, it's missing a few things...

1. It doesn't come with the 17" wheels (unless your dealer put on aftermarket ones.)

2. It will not igve you the electroluminescent guages. These guages will turn all black when the car is off.)

3. The fog lights are incorporated into the light valance.

4. The sports package requires a black interior option, whether it be cloth or leather.

Hopefully this helps you out to decide what's going on. Feel free to post some pics and let us take a look at it. And let's also hope that your dealer didn;t try to pawn it off as a sports package car when it's not.

okay, all i got was an appearance package, becuase i don't have the 17's or gauges. My interior is gray. I do have a place for the light in my headlight housing, but it doesn't come on with the lights, high beams or foglights. Can i still put a bulb in it? Will it function? Thanks for the quick responses. I am new to this forum. I got my 6 almost 4 weeks ago.
