Glove box light

The last couple weeks I've noticed that my glove box light is always on, I can see the light at night through a little crack in my glove box. It automatically comes on when you turn the lights on, I wish they would have put a switch in there.:(

Sometimes if a light is on continuously it could be due to a blown fuse.

Check your fuse box to make sure the fuse for the glove box isn't blown...and check the glove box to make sure its shutting correctly.

I checked mine and sure enough. with the headlights on, there is light coming through the cracks of the glovebox... also, seeing as there is no switch (even my 1984 toyota corona had a "fridge" switch for its glovebox light) the light cannot be turned off except for turning off the headlights. :( Gee thanx zoucha, now i've noticed it, its gonna bug me too :P

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience. My opinions may have changed, but not the fact that I am right. Nothing is fool proof, fools are too inventive.
