there is a place to insert a socket assemmbly, there's even the wires to hook it up, but i have no idea where we (the non-sport people) would turn it on if we hooked something up in there. we don't have it on the stick, so where would this switch be??

I've noticed the one in my 6's headlight assembly. I don't have the switch on the turn signal stalk but it looks like mine actually has a bulb in there. It looks like the projector lens for the high beam. Is this just a "dummy bulb"? I know someone posted something about adding the fogs to this location, but didn't get too detailed about it.

I have nothing else to go on at the moment, and as much as I hate this shoddy company, APC sells "higher output" sockets for all different types of bulbs, pretty much all of the 900* series and some of the H* series fogs.

As to hold it in place, if your not scared to do a little tapping here and there, you can fab up a metal wire hold down out of a piece of wire and some screws.

Then just wire up the harness/socket to a relay and a switch in the cabin, much easier that way if you ask me.

Also, I just remembered, at Pep Boys we do sell non-APC light harness/sockets too down the electrical aisle.

You will need a stalk from the Sport Package, the socket and bulb and some rewiring (maybe). When I installed by Mazda lower front fogs it activated the fog relay in the fuse box.

Contact Richard at Mazdastuff.com or Tommy at FinishLinePerformance.com both should be able to assemble the parts you need for the install.
