It depends on the housing, but since the 6 has projector based housings, the output should not be yellow.

In addition, overtime, the output gets more and more blue.

HeroneW, Kelvin is not a measure of brightness OR power. Please get the facts straight.

And yes, there might be cheaper kits out there, but price is not the only thing to look for as all HID kits are NOT created equal. You don't want to be replacing capsules in less than a year ... they are NOT cheap.

Here are a couple pictures of the Catz 4500K. You won't be dissapointed.

I know I Know, I have read everything on your site and yes your are very correct on all the facts. I was just using the general term that everyone uses. BTW, very nice job on the Liteswap.com and HID forum, keep it up. And as far as the kit i was talking about the bulbs are Japanese OEM capsules, packed with Hella Blasters. Catz are one of the best HID kits, but i have personally seen the kit and I can promise you they are not cheap kits. My best friend's family has close connections to the factory that's why I can get lights for discount. I am not try to sell anything to anyone, just trying to help out. Not like you liteswap, i don't have website, warehouse, and all the other business cost that you need to maintain, I was just giving him an oppitunity to get a good quality HID kit for less money. Trying to help out just you know.

The brand is EKDG. Website is http://www.ekdg.co.kr
I will try to answer questions about the kit. For more technical question, please ask liteswap. :)

No, me chinese. English I dunno. And GO COMMIS. :P
Are you Korean?
The company is a Korean company, but they just do the wires, intallation detail and packing. The ballaster are Hellas or so called "Phillips", Japanese OEM capsuals. The products quality is garrenteed. I am just trying to help everyone who owns a Mazda6 like me get an alternative solution for HID that won't hurt ur packet as much. Me personally is working my ass off as a valet to save up for them as well. ;)

I am not trying to discredit you, etc... I am just trying to give facts here.

Any company claiming 6500K as white has something wrong... other things to consider is that NO OEM quality HID capsule comes higher than 6000K... also, the kit pictured is a HID PLUS kit which has been KNOWN to have lower quality capsules.

Thank you for your compliments on our site and forum.

I agree with you 110% liteswap. I didn't say that the KDG kit is as high quality as CATZ but it's not a bad alternative for me and people like me that doesn't have tat much money to spend on the top brand name HIDs. The picture of the HID PLUS kit are the older version not the KDG kit which is redesigned and is not related to HID PLUS kit any more. The capsules above 6000k are produced by KDG's own research department, 6000k and lower are OEM.

it's a very DIY job. Full instruction of the intallation is on liteswaps's website (www.liteswap.com) . It really isn't that hard other than trying to put the capsules in the housing cause there isn't tat much room. If you really don't wanna do it you can find a local tunner shop to do the job but they probably won't do much better job than yourself.
