Trust me, there is no such thing as a loyalty discount when it comes to insurance companies. If you don't take quotes every year, you get ripped off, I promise. It's a hard, hard world (and expensive!):sarc [/b][/quote]

Actually, GEICO takes off 5% every year you're with them, at least in my area. Now, if I was with them 10 years, that'd be great, but I can't afford to wait around. In the long run though, it would be better financially if I stuck with GEICO.

Just so you guys can look forward to something when you get older.

I insure 3 cars and 3 drivers, myself, my wife and my 18 year old daughter (1 ticket)

03 Mazda6 Full coverage /$200 collision deductible_____________$670/year

02 Miata ...Full coverage /$500 collision deductible _____________$740/year

01 Hyundia Accent...Full coverage /$500 collision deductible_____$1446/year

Been with the same company (Allstate) for 30 years. Last year they gave me a check for $10,000 to replace my 95 miata that was destroyed in my house fire.

Wow! I heard Hyundais were expensive. In comparison to all your other cars, Wow!

No the Accent is cheap, it is the 18 year old Daughter (1 ticket) that is the primary driver that sets that rate. If it was a boy that rate could be 60% more.

The Miata and 6 are listed as "No Driver under 25" :D

Reading Topic: Replying to Topic 'Alarm shock sensor upgrade'

My insurance isn't too bad...I think. I live in Florida and am paying $1600/yr in insurance. I have Allstate also and have been with them for almost 2yrs. I have only the Mazda 6s with the v6. It dropped by $40 after trading in the 4runner for the 6. What sux about Florida is that there is something called PIP coverage which most states don't have. PIP = Pedestrian Injury Protection runs me about $240 a yr. Basically Florida is a big tourism state, so a lot of idiots step out and walk in the road instead of sticking to the sidewalk like they are supposed to. So I am stuck paying for them when they get ran over. But after reading about NY coverage premiums, I think I will stop complaining about Florida.
