The normal gauge is red too, but in the day, they are white. The reason why it's orange on that picture is because of the flash of the camera. Just look at the little screen under Km/h, it has a red background and orange numbers because of the flash...

It's supposed to be Red numbers on Black background.

I agree with Mazda 6 Freak.

Another thing I notice in these pics is in the Tacho. The rev limit is 6500 in some pics and 7000 in some.

I guess this must be a question of having different engines. Anyone who knows the system?

I wonder how these guages look in real life. some look like they are a bit dim while others they look great.

Reading Topic: Consers about the US speedo backlight

the gages are awsome there is no way you cant see the numbers regardless of how the sun hits it or what angle your sitting at (i live in vegas lots of sun)the gages are a brite red it also has a button on the gage cluster to briten the numbers up if you have to run your lights during the day...i love these gages easy to read not one complaint...

Completely agree... though I only have Michigan sun to compare. :D
