Xenon in Canada Model?

I hope they include that as an option on the Canadian model. I hate how US gets xenon but nothing for Canada.

Anyone know if we get xenon lights?

If not, it's real easy to get them aftermarket...

No Xenon lights for Canada, but like Steve 6er said, it's very easy to have them aftermarket.

I looked at the specifications for the US model and I didn't see the Xenon lights option. I think it's not available here but in other countries, it's only available on the most expensive Hatchback model (I think, not sure).

If ever Xenon lights were sold in the US, just ask at your Mazda dealer to order it.

The problem is not getting HID/Xenon. The regulation here in Canada and I think in the US too is if the car is sold new from the manufacturer that has HID/Xenon installed, they must have the auto-levelling system built in. This is a must because it helps keep the light levelled and not blinding opposing traffic.

Now, I am not too sure about the law on installing aftermarket HID/Xenon after you get the car. You will not be able to get auto-levelling without lots of work and I don't know what the police will do. They may issue of warning or ticket or nothing but it is definitely a chance you are taking.

I prefer if it was factory installed then they will have to follow regulation. Plus I think auto-levelling is cool too.

Does any member other than North American know of the regulation in your country and if you have HID/Xenon??

I post this question on another thread but since someone decided to start one here, I will ask again.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I want factory xenon just so I could have auto-levelling. God damn it, why does every country have a different style mazda6.

No one else know of anything about the HID/Xenon factory option, whether it has autolevelling or not?

As far as I've heard all Xenon/HID systems are required to have auto-levelling.

Hi,

here in Germany, Xenon (with auto-levelling) is included in the "Top" version (which is available with the 2.3l or the 2.0l 136hp Diesel engine) on all three body styles, and is, as far as I know, not available as an option for any other version.

Can someone confirm if the NA version of the lamp are the same standard as the one in Singapore as mentioned in this URL

http://www.goonish.com/atenza/read.php?TID=280&page=1

It indicated:
Front lights from left to right:

1) Headlight (H1)
2) Turn indicator (W21Y)
3) Integrated Fog lamp (H3) - empty coz I didn't fork out the US$180 to get it done)
4) Main-beam/parking lights - H1/Can't remember

Is H1 be used here as well or some NA numbering standard like 9005/9006 and such?

Who has pop the hood/bonnet on a Mazda6 in the dealers and take a look at the lamp? :D

Please someone confrim. I will be heading over to Singapore/Malaysia this January and would like to pick up a cheap HID kit, plus the clear rear lenses as well. :)

I like to pick up a sport grill but I have to get it painted anyway so I might as well order it from the dealer here.
