Kicker speakers are average in my opinion. You have the mid line with foam surrounds. I just installed the KS series, 6.5" in the back doors of my truck, fed by 75W each, and i'm not impressed, but they more than met the needs of the back of my truck.

Had one of those "Fuck it" moments and ordered a pair of JBL - GTO629 to go with the JBL Basspro SL. Might as well start on a full JBL system :P With the GTO's i get two extra tweeters so i dont have to replace the stock tweeters which was the plan.

Did you try to use the original mount? I saw a video where he simply cut out the original speaker and sanded down the top of the mount to fit the aftermarket speaker.

I did not try that. The idea occurred to me after I had the metra adpaters already. I have extras.... You live in Norway! Yeah, wont be shipping these to you ...

Can anyone confirm if the Pac loc mentioned will work flawlessly with the Bose system? I think I read somewhere it creates a delayed signal(very, very minute.... but a delay nonetheless). I'm just adding a powered sub tube (MTX RT8PT) to my system. Also, the manual says the amp needs minimum 100mv signal for proper operation. This loc will provide that? Thanks.

The 2018 6 Sport is non Bose? I have a 2018 GT with Bose and the connector to the TAU is a lot smaller than what comes with the PAC so I'm looking like I might be out of luck. Trying to use the PAC AOEM MAZ2 to install a Rockford Fosgate Punch 300-10.

I know that the PAC isn't working with any model of mazda 6 or 3 WITH BOSE AUDIO SYSTEMS!
