Did a few quick things while the wife and kid were sleep.

Taped off the speaker wires from the radio harness, as I will not be using those.

I am using the Kicker RCA lines to the Scosche harness which will connect to the RCA outputs of the radio. The Bose is amplified, so no need to run high level into an amplifier.

Also connected the 12v relay, which will go to the Blue Sea 5025, which will be used to trigger the Kicker 700.5 amp, front camera, Dash camera, and prob the new center console 2.1a USB charge only plugs. I think that's all its going to power. All low voltage stuff. Every output has it's on fuse and it has integrated grounds. Nice unit.

I need to order a micro bypass, as I can't find my old one.

Tomorrow, I plan to run the RCAs, amp remote and amp power wires and the front camera wires. The Micro bypass prob wont be here until Thursday, so it'll give me something to do in the meantime.

Ahhhh!! Pics and details about the process please and thank you. I think you'll have a LOT of people (myself included) interested in this one. Good luck and let us know how things are going.

Been a while since I did a full system overhaul, and this might be what convinces me to do it again haha.

Right now I'm trying to gather information about how people ran their amp power wire through the firewall.

Its so difficult to find info with pictures on this chassis. So hopefully this thread will be of service to people in the future.

I think I'm installing everything possible with the exception of a TV tuner, and that's not out the window just yet!

Brainstorming amp placement. I wanted to mount it under the shelf, but I think it's too big and too heavy. 5 channel, but only usin gn the sub channel for now. But all the wires, minus the other 4 channel speaker wires, will be ran.

Also, I plan to get all the wires set in place today.

And the camera. I am going to paint the bolts black for the interim.

I'm interested in how the camera looks on-screen. I'm contemplated getting one for my AVH as well. The Pioneer screen resolution is WVGA, so 800x480 with a 16:9 ratio. It makes my OEM back up camera look terrible really. It works, but you can tell it's not the head unit that is the limiting factor.

Got a few things done last night. Got the amp power ran, wired the amp power to the battery block, video/power ran for the front facing camera and rcas/remote/bass knob installed.

Just need to run the RCA's, amp ground and install the radio.

Engine bay looks 100% OEM at 1st glance. Which is how I like it.

I don't really love the bass knob position, but it will suffice for now.

Made some progress today.

The headunit works and I have sound! Now to get the Blue Sea 5025 wired up.

The camera has to be wired to a constant 12v. I figured out that the voltage drops down to 6v automatically, and I had it wired with the reverse input and the voltage drops too low to trigger the headunit.

Got the Maestro Rr programmed and just need to run the wires to the OBD port.

These posi taps are ok, but you have to make sure that it pierces through the target wire.

So it's down to the home stretch. Take the center console apart and wire the 2 cig lighters up. Hopefully tonight I can have it mostly completed.

The wiring is a rat's nest right now. No need to try to explain it, but hopefully tmrw it will be buttoned and cleaned up.

Still need to run power/ground to the Blue Sea 5025 and install data usb and charge usb. And find fuses.
