I have a 2016 which is a different system so I'm taking a guess here . . . could the tone be a speed limit warning or a speed camera warning? Maybe when the NAV updated it turned all the settings on?

All warnings were off, when I updated it crashed a couple of times.
It wanted me to update program to a newer version and I said ok, then it didn't work so I had to go back to the older program.
I guess I have to live with it.

This is normal - it's for known speed cameras and red light cameras

There're options in the settings to disable this.

Same sound happened to me, it's the camera warning sound.
