Mazda 6 1st Gen HID

Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting HID kit, either just the ballasts and the bulb, or this. I currently have a 6 Luxury Sports 2007 2.3I V4. Do any people have any experience with the full kit? Or any experience with just the bulbs and ballasts, and have any cops picked up on it. As I think I would install the full kit, as I don't want to get a defect notice or bring any unwanted attention. I also live in Melbourne if that is any help, but I am on Green P's which might make it harder.

Thanks

If you've got the will and time then do that retrofit kit. It's amazing and puts any HID kit to shame. Opening and resealing the headlights is the hardest par of the entire process. I had it on my '08 6GT, that came with stock HID's and this kit made it look old school halogen reflector housings. It's worth every penny.

Agreed. The best way to go, by far.

Sent from the wrong side of the tracks.

Are there any aftermarket options or retailers that sell a complete kit including housing? Not very keen on retrofitting and not keen on a bulb and ballast kit either.
