Transmission Shifter Doesn't Always Allow Car to Turn off When in Park- Please Help

Hey guys. I have a 2014 GT. A few months ago my car started to not turn off when in park on the first try. I had to push the shifter back and forth then hit the button start and it would turn off after a few tries. It's still doing that. It's like the car doesn't doesn't recognize when it's in park all the time. I'm glad the car works, but it's just a little annoying and I don't want it to get worse. Does anyone know if this is an easy enough fix or any recommendations on what I could do? Thank you for your help.

Mine does the same thing. I assume there is a switch that tells the ignition the car is in park that is either out adjustment or failing. Any update on a solution?
