Lightbulb Highest MPG/Total Miles Driven On One Tank???

The best I've gotten out of my 2015 Mazda 6 Sport was 496 miles with about 4 miles left until empty.

A little over 500 i remember when my car was relatively new. Somehow the mileage has steadily deteriorated as the car rakes in more miles, its either that or i am getting more heavy footed as i grow old ! I average around 450 miles in 60 highway - 40 city before the distance to empty drops below 10 mi.

I usually fill early, so haven't put more than 46L (12 gallons) at once. My best result to date was 7.7 L/100Km (30.5 MPG). That's with winter tires, 90% highway and winter conditions. The car is 3 months old.

Here are my stats :

I get about 440 miles to a tank before the gas light comes on and I've 25 miles with the gas light on. That's 150 mile round trip, with 130 of those being highway miles at 75-80mph and in town speeds being 35-50mph and filling up every 2.5 - 3 days.

My record is 553 and had like 3 miles left. That was not easy to obtain, tried to stay close to 50mph with mostly highway.

I usually fill when it's half empty but there was a time that I didn't so I got 746.7 km for 53.667 L.

That will be about 14 km/L or 33 mpg with mostly highway driving.

The best that I got so far is 25 km/L or 58.8 mpg. Prior to OVT, it was 23 km/L.

I've had several tanks over 500; that's not unusual at all. My high was 551, and I was not on "0" remaining. Last year I had four tanks over 525 and this year so far I've had one (539)

I've yet to intentionally run it out to see exactly how much further there is when it says "0"; my suspicion is that there's another ~50 miles there, but being wrong on that, if you don't have a gas can with fuel in it in the back of the car, means walking....

If you don't mind me asking, how long did the OVT tune process take? I am very interested in getting one myself with fuel efficiency as a priority alongside increased power.

One day only because I rented a dynamometer. I have the diesel variant so I'm not sure if the fuel efficiency will be the same to yours.
