Try Proclip

Proclip mounts are the best I've been able to find. It does block the air vent a little, but it's secure and well positioned. A little pricey, but they work very well. The have one for the 2018 6, but you'll need to search the car as a 2019. I installed this a couple weeks back just after they released one for the new 6 interior.

I got it at the local Bell (telecom company in Canada) store for like $5.

It's one that slides onto the air vent fins...this one is deeper so it can reach the fins on the new 6...they are sunken in a lot more than my old 3's.
I got a similar one at Amazon, works great in the fins of the vent.

I have one of those but the vents are too deep inside the dash and the plastic clamps are not long enough. If I pull the magnet out a little bit it gets too loose. Guess I'll have to look for another phone holder

The original one I had in my 3 was a stubby one that worked perfect for that car...it had a similar issue as yours when I tried putting it in the 6. Luckily, I found this deeper one. Here's a rough internet picture I found of how much deeper this one is. You can adjust the angle of the mount, which my old one didn't allow.

I’ve got a Pro-clip mount too. It works well.

I’ve also tried those simple vent/magnet mounts and they work ok too. The Pro-clip doesn’t block the vent nearly as much and it looks nicer, so I’m using that now all the time.

Would that work in a US car? It looks like itís designed for right hand drive. Guess the passenger could use it?
