Continental ExtremeContact DWS06

Changed my tires from Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus (Grand Touring All Season) to Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 (ULtra High Performance All Season).

After 500 km (310 miles), I noticed the car ride 'softer', more comfortable and quieter.

Just wanted to share this to members looking for Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 review.

They were originally CAD$224 (US$ 174) but I got it for CAD$163 (US$126). US$135 at Tirerack as of this writing.

Thanks. I have them on all of my cars at this point. Wonderful tires. Quiet, comfortable, great on dry, wet, and snow. Plus they look fantastic and are well priced.

Tire design is always a compromise - the DWS06 strikes a great balance across various competing factors. They do feel a little squishier than I'd like in hard cornering, but that's the compromise for offering such a quiet and comfortable ride the other 99% of the time.

225/55R17 97W from Canadian Tire. They were on sale for CAD$163 (sale+rebate).

I just check now and price is CAD$224.

Ive had these tires on my last 2 Mazda 6s. Agree theyre well rounded. Quiet, comfortable, decently grippy, good steering bite. And they handle well in the rain. Id get another set for my 2018 without hesitation but I think I want something even stickier to help tame the turbo.

This will be my 4th set of DWS06 tires I'll be buying at the end of next winter. They are an exceptional tire for the price and available sizes. I highly recommend to these to anyone looking for new tires

Been through a couple sets of these. Love them to death. Waiting for the Dunlops on my 3 to turn to powder so I can continue the trend.

Thanks for your feedback. I really like the quietness and 'very' comfortable ride of these tires.
