Help with nav??

I live in a border city...AR/TX. When entering an address on NAV system, is there a way around having to enter country each time I switch States?

There was another thread discussing this same thing the other day - as far as people have found, there is not unfortunately.

The best way I have found with the Nav system is just to speak the address. I know that works on the 2016. It certainly is not very intuitive when entering stuff manually. Hope that helps.

Yeah, the voice command does work pretty good for me too. I"m still getting used to the commands that work best and it'll help to turn off the system prompts as soon as you can.

....lucky ducks. I tried using my TomTom voice command twice and it was so far off that I couldn't be bothered to try again. If I want to enter an address, the only way to do it is to stop the car so I can put it in manually.....stupid safety lock.

I couldn't make the stupid car (2016GT - NNG nav system) understand voice commands much beyond "cancel navigation". That command worked reliably.

I got tired of yelling "no, you piece of crap" at the nav and gave up. It's worse than Siri. And as much as I love my iPhone, she's an idiot.
