Hey guys,
This looks to be the unit that supports practically everything that the OEM headunit does (minus Sirius XM), including the commander dial. This has an enhanced backup camera overlay (variable trajectory guides)... Seems very interesting.

HERE

But for ~729 USD, I'm not sure I want to be a guinea pig

Hmmm, opens just fine for me. Maybe it has something to do with your internet service provider? It's a Russian site so maybe it's blocked?

I sent a bunch of questions to these guys asking the following:

1)Does it support the commander knob and all it's functions (phone, nav, audio, settings)?
2)Does it allow control of the OEM vehicle settings (locks, wipers, lights, etc)?
3)Does it allow Google Maps to work with GPS antenna for navigation?
4)Does it in fact have CD/DVD? I couldnt tell from the website translation...

Ill post back what I hear...

Yup i tried it at work and it was taking forever.

Working just fine at home.

I would say rather wait for Parrot's RNB 6. It looks more promising!

I doubt we will hear anything before fall. But I would be more than happy if I am wrong on this...

anyone knows any pricing information?
Also any word on whether this will work just like stock unit with support for all features supported by stock unit?

Will the Parrot RNB 6 support all the OEM features and the command knob?

I did get a response back from the vendor; looks like very good news. Maybe a group buy would be something to consider?

Hello!
1) Yes,this device supports all the features (nav, phone, setup, audio)
2) Yes,this device supports both the original (lighting, locks, wipers, etc)
3) No support for this device CD DVD
4) Yes Google Maps be installed and use the GPS for navigation
5) Yes Can this unit connect to the internet via a wifi hotspot (from phone)
True, the cost ($728 USD) at the moment.
It looks like we will lose the following:
Sirius XM
CD

Everything else is there and even enhanced... Very tempting!

I think it's too much money for non-branded product which will not have any after purchase support (and even if it does, you can be rest assured, won't be great)

I'd put my money on RNB 6 even if it's few hundred more than this. Just my 2 cents

It supports everything and more. Does our car have proximity sensors as shown in the video when someone is walking around? I think he had the reverse engaged for testing that? I also like the curving backup markers instead of the static stock ones we have.
