If you get 18" rims you just have to run a 40 series tire and the speedo will be very close to stock. You can look up a calculator online and figure out the difference from the stock 50 or 55 series on a 17 versus 40 or 45 series on a 18 and you'll see there is only a few degrees if that of difference depending on your tire height choice.
You need more offset. The stock wheel is 17x7, +60. You added width AND pushed the wheel out with the lower offset - not a good combo. You moved the outside edge of the wheel out 27mm (over an inch), but only increased the wheel width by 1/2inch. If you roll the fenders you should be ok.
