Difference in Taillights?

I noticed that my model, 2011 mazda6 i has 1 bulb to illuminate the brake light, but many of the other 6's ive seen seem to have an LED type illumination, where there appears to be 10 leds. I want to know more about why theyre different. I could be seeing things, as I cannot find where to buy this "led" version. Thanks😁

I'm not sure if the differentiator was the engine or the trim level, whether its a 4 cylinder or V6, or just all Grand Touring cars had LED tail lights. I think any 2nd gen 6 with the dual exhaust had the LED tail lights (if you are looking at a junkyard). My V6 GT has LED tails.

I searched for "tail light 2011 Mazda 6 LED -not" on eBay...

Or try car-part.com, choose 2011 Mazda 6 tail light and tell it to interchange with 2009-2012. Then sort by distance or price. Most junkyards will ship small stuff like tail lights for a fee. Or you can just drive to one by you. Call them ahead of time and tell them to pull it for you. Most junkyards won't let you go get it yourself.

For your Gen2 model, led tails were available on gt trim levels only. All others were incandescent.
