Hmmm. Confused, your sound clip video states muffler delete, but you state you have a single Magnaflow installed? Also it seems that would drone something awful at highway speeds. I don't need my car to sound like its from Fast and the Furious. This is my DD and it hauls my kiddos. It does look good with the those tips you used.

Coming back from Miami and went to pass an older gentleman (I am a senior too) driving his A6 conservatively, and I decided I was in a greater hurry at the moment than he was. Punched the gas to pass and his head flipped around to see what was passing him. The 6 was looking good and sounding good. Attached a couple of photos. I am sure you will be happy with your decision.

LOL. I'm an idiot. I watched that video like 100 times and didn't even think of it. Move along, nothing to see here *face palm*

Ya got me. I'll probably add something later since this is also my DD and kid limo. Got in and realized it's a bit loud... may need an additional "resonator"?

This post inspired me and I went to my local shop asking for the same thing but I think all they did was take out the muffler unit. I assume that's a muffler delete, yeh? I'm new to mods.

Can you describe the "drone" sound?

The drone sound is engine/exhaust noise/hum/vibration at cruising speeds inside the cabin. Not sure how to describe it any better.

Those tips really fill out the cutouts nice!! Has the exhaust got any louder the more miles you put on it?

I couldn't get a good angle centering the exhaust tips in the valence cut-outs...so I had to take two separate pics. Hope this helps.

PS. My muffler was originally polished stainless, but I painted it black...just in case you were wondering.

Exhaust Recommendation for a 14 6 GT with ATX

Lol I was just about to send you a link to my video but i just realized that racing beat used my video on their website. I have about 54K miles on my car I should post an updated video on the sound

Well I just gotta say is I love the sound of the exhaust and its not that loud on idle except on a cold start. But it has a really nice deep sound when you put in gear and accelerate normally. Also, I really like the exhaust tips on it.
