I’m sure this might annoy some of you here but I have no other option at this point. I’ve been looking up and down the internet for the shop manual for the Mazda 6 1st gen American 3.0L gasoline model but all I could find is European model and every single link for the US is dead. I emailed a user from this site but realized he has the European (assumptions because OP was asking for the EU model) If anyone is able to help me out in obtaining a shop manual for the US model I would greatly appreciate it and immediately run outside of my house and scream “YESSSS!!!” Please anyone..

I've got a set of shop manuals that I need to post here since my 2004 6s is gone. <img src="http://forum.mazda6club.com/images/smilies/6.gif" border="0" alt="" title=":(" class="inlineimg" />

What happened?!?

What happened?!?

I had put 327,000 miles on it in 12 years and it lost compression on one of the cylinders. Almost as good as the 1987 Mazda 626GT that it replaced which had 355,000 miles on it in 2004 and was still running (but looking a little worse given the years). :)

Since my son's off at college, it was time for me to get back into a convertible so replaced it with a 1997 Miata with 68,000 miles on it.

I still love the look of the 2004 6s and would have loved to keep it if I had the time and a place to replace the engine myself.

Just to reply here in case anyone else finds their way - 6Crew still has the link posted for the full manual, but sometimes their site doesn't resolve correctly and you have to try to load it a few times. I was there the other day.
