Broken (?) Power windows

Hey all,
I was having some issues with my driver window sort of sticking. It wouldn't go up or down past a certain range. Finally got it free, but now my auto up/down doesn't work and it will continue trying to roll up past where it should stop. If you let it go it makes a really loud clicking noise, like a mechanical part is skipping a tooth or something. Anyone have this problem? I'm not gonna have time to pull the door apart for a little bit, and I'm wondering if I should order some parts in the mean time

yes, order parts.
You can get just the gear set alone, without the whole drive motor.
