Sorry if this has been discussed, but what does the offset refer to when purchasing wheels? I have a 2009 6 with the factory steel wheels/wheel covers. I want to get a nice set of 18" rims, I was looking at discount tire direct and the ones I was looking at (Drag DR-19s) have a 45mm offset. I thought we could only get away with a minimum of 50mm offset on the 09 6s. I don't want to spend a ton on wheels that don't fit LOL.

, still they are showing some wheels with a 45mm offset...Anyway can I get some opinions on these:

Kazera KZ-J
KZ-L
KZ-D

TR Motorsports TR - C2

and Drag DR-19s

All in 18" on a Comet Grey 09 Mazda 6.

I know wheels are a personal choice, these are ones I liked, though it's hard to decide when you can't actually see it on your car LOL.

I need a resonably priced wheel, so if you don't like any of these offer me some suggestions.

Im looking at the black 18in Enkei FLC-01 or the FD-05s for my 09 mazda 6i sport, not saying yours are bad, just offering what im looking at

Those are double/triple the price of those Kazera wheels he was looking at, lol.

I’ve heard good things about those Kazera wheels while researching options for my 09. Still trying to source a set of 19’s that I actually like, however. Shame all their large sizes have been discontinued.

A +45 is pretty much the max you would want to go (in my humble opinion), anything lower than that will stick outside of the fender well.

Yeah those SSRs are nice, but I can't afford that. The Kazera and Enkei are more my price range. I like those Enkei wheels, both types LOL. I also found the TSW Jamara (sp?) that I think would look nice. Man choosing is a pain in the ass LOL.

I can't decide whether to do a silver rim, OR a gunmetal/grey rim with the machined lip...might look nice on my Comet Grey 6, but then Comet Grey has a blue-ish look to it sometimes.

So that's what offset refers to! Yeah I don't want the wheels sticking outside the fender well.

Please keep in mind that the offset required will change depending on the width of wheel you choose. No disrespect to Tire Rack, but their advice on offsets is sometimes not the best.
