I kept the 18" wheels from my '06 Mazda3 when I traded it in for my '09 Mazda6. I know it's got tons of wheel gap, and it's begging to be lowered... so, it'll come in time. Going back to school in the fall has forced me to go back to a student sized budget!

Hard to make out the pattern in those pics, but not bad!

Hey nice! Those are the only other wheels I've seen so far that I like.
What are they and where might I get them?

The wheels are MSR style 065.

Here's what they looked like on the 3. They definitely filled up the wheel well better.

Thanks man. I bought the car just a few weeks before I lost my job. It was a bit of a blessing in disguise as i was completely unhappy with the job, and was planning on going back to school to get my masters. Guess you could say it was the kick in the butt that I needed.

Those tires look too small. What size are they? Load rating? Speedometer error?

Yes, the tires are too small. I'll need to check the load rating on them (they are Kuhmo ASX tires if that helps). Speedo error is quite a bit. Close to 5% I just need to get new tires to fix it. Hopefully, that'll be soon!

Well, I picked up some new tires. Much closer to the stock size (went from 225/40/18 to 245/45/18). The difference in size only exaggerated the already low offset of the wheels I had (not sure what the offset was, could never locate it stamped on the wheel. If I had to guess, 35-40ish).

Anyway, now that the tire size is closer to being correct, I have an urge to correct the offset of the wheels and actually make the car sit right. From what I can tell, the stock offset on the 18" wheels is either 50 or 55 (please correct me if I'm wrong!) and I've decided to go with these wheels. I just need to save up some money and order them. I've messed around on photoshop and decided they look pretty sweet on the 6.

Opinions/suggestions are welcome!
