ok so i found a great deal on some 5zigen GN+ 18x7.5 with a 48 offset... firstly what do you guys think of the wheel and offset?? i've searched and it seems like everyone is saying rubbing wont be an issue, just wanting to double check. i forget the tire size on them but im thinkin of either goin 215-45 or 225-40or45. what do you guys think?? also here is my first photoshop of adding wheels to a car... what do you guys think? should i go with these or speed3 rims?

If you have the chance to get new wheels, always go wider (screw the mazdaspeed wheels). 18x7.5 +48 is perfect for an 18" daily driving setup. I'd suggest 225/45/18 over the other options you listed as well, as the extra half inch of width from the wheels provides an optimum fit for the tire, whereas 225/40's optimum fit would be with an 8" wide wheel.
Good choices so far.

if the tires are in good condition, don't just replace them to replace them. the 225/40's will be just fine around town, a bit firmer ride than the 45, but a lot of people run them. just keep it in mind when you do go to replace them, that a 45 might be a better option for you you then if you want.
