Alright, so the side to side wear of the stock suspension system has been discussed quite a bit (I have some pretty bad wear on the outsides, so a new suspension setup will be coming soon). My question here though is for front to back wear. I just checked my tires this morning and my backs are almost completely bald (wear bars showing, <2/32 left according to the quarter test). Checking my fronts, I'm finding that while the outsides are pretty bald, the insides still have at least 3/32 or more left. I have ~16k miles on these tires (stock bridgestones), and a rotation at 10k. Anyone else seeing any front/back bias with their tire wear? I would have expected the fronts to go first...

My fronts do wear a little bit quicker than the rears, but to preserve the tires I rotate them every 3000 miles. The fronts get destroyed very quickly due to the balding on the outside, like you stated.

Have you checked your alignment recently? My guess is incorrect toe settings in the rear are contributing to faster wear.

its not an alignment issue if the entire tire is wearing evenly. its just that the rears are wearing faster then the fronts.

Your fronts did go first. You said they were rotated at 10K so the tires now on the back of your car have spent most of their life on the front of the car.

+1 I made the mistake of not rotating often enough with my 1st set of tires and the fronts last only 18k
