Since it takes about 7 gallons of oil for the materials and production of the manufacture of one tire, you can bet the prices are going up as badly as gas is.

This was sent to me from a regional tire shop. Take it as you will:

Increases Effective in June
Bridgestone - +10%
Firestone - +10%
Goodyear - +8%
Dunlop - +8%
Kelly - +8%
Falken - +8%
Pirelli - +5%

Increases Effective in July
Continental - +9%
General - +9%
Michelin - +8%
BFGoodrich - +8%
Uniroyal - +8%
Cooper - +8%
Hankook - +8%
