Thumbs up

I just bought some 215/50 R17 Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seasons and got them on last night. Driving home I noticed some vibration in the wheel, like they were out of balance, so today I took them over to the Goodyear place to have them rebalanced. (The original mount was done at a place I'd never dealt with before, and the tires are from Tire Rack, so I decided to take them to Goodyear this morning).

Alignment is perfect, did some tests on a straight stretch of road. What could this be? It feels like when you lose a weight. Before I go spend more money having them figure this out... anyone here have any ideas? Prior to these, I was still on stockers and there was no wheel shake, alignment was perfect, etc.

snow shouldn't be packed in the wheel as warm as it is today, maybe a bent wheel?

Would a bad control arm do this? Just putting it out there, because I had a friend who steering shook, and thought it was the tires. Turned out it was a control arm.

could be. go to a place with a roadforce balncer and have them check the roadforce. anything over 17 on the machine and the tire needs to be mounted diffently on the rim.

Interesting. Is a roadforce balancer the same as gps9700? I saw someone just post a link to http://www.gps9700.com
