anyone tried 245 50 16's on the stock 16's tires till fit on the rims but are at minumum rim width the real question is will i hit the front spindle? i think it would be major rubbage on the front let me know if youve tried it.

I have driven on 245/50R16 tires on narrow rims -- but not on a Mazda6. :P

Straight ahead, you might be o.k., but when you turn the wheel, the chances are good that you'll ht the upper control arm before the pinion reaches the end of the rack. IOW, a tire that fat will increase the turning radius considerably.

im not worried about the turning radious or rubbing during turning im just wondering as far as fitment in bolting up without spacers.... the spindle looks like it doesnt have enough clearence for the extra width going up to the upper control arm.
