I know theres a crap ton of posts about rims... thats prolly why I havent found the answer to my question.

Question: Can I get a set of 17" rims for my 05 6S so that I dont have to drop the suspension, and so the wheels wont rub?

is there a certain offset or rim size I'm going to need? most rims I like are 17X7 with an off set like 42 or 45

If you run 48 or 50 you won't have any issues at all. 45 should be ok but close. if you run a 42 or lower you will be rubbing and need to roll the fender for clearance.

Not sure what your looking for with the suspension though since the offset has nothing to do with having to drop your suspension. It just means that if you do drop your car then you will be more likely to rub with the lower positve #offset on your car.

kk cool. know I just have to find some rims I like with that high of an offset. I want rims just like these (pic) but they have a 42 offset. I have found some just liek this for much cheaper on wheelsmax

(45 offset, exel pic). Hopefully I can find a set just like these by a brand with a 48-50 offset.
