I'm sure this has been posted somewhere before, but I can't find it. I'm getting a set of Tork Imagine Hyper Black wheels for the 6 and these are the specs:
18'' x 8'' Then they give u options for the offset: 35, 38, 40 ![]() Which offset should I go with to not have to roll the fender? Take in consideration that I wanna lower the 6 with either mazdaspeed springs or H-Techs, just a slight lil drop. Thanks, Kevin |

you will have to roll with any of those offsets. you generally need to stay > +45 in an 8inch wide rim with a 225 tire to ensure little or no rubbing.
lowering won't cause rubbing, it will just increase the frequency of it occuring. sorry about the bad news.

Don't get them. You're going to definitely have to roll the fenders, maybe even put in some negative camber - which means you need the SPC camber adjustable ball joints for the front. You MIGHT be able to get by with just a roll by putting 225/35 tires on, but I doubt it.
EDIT: That's with the 40 offset |

^^^What he said...With those offsets those rims will just be a nightmare to make work.

> +45 and no wider than an 8 inch rim (to be safe). stay with a 225 tire unless your offset is VERY close to stock in order to avoid problems as well. in all honesty tho, the rear fenders should have been rolled from the factory...for the trouble that is involved in rolling the fenders, if the fitment is close to the inner lip of the fender...just do it.

It kind of depends...A lot of people get away with a +42 with a 7.5in wide rim...Rubbing is very car specific...What works for one person may not work for you so there really isn't one right answer...But with an 8in wide rim you definitely wanna stay around +45 or higher and run nothing more than a 225 unless, as Egierda said, you're running very close to the stock offset.
