I'm a total noob about tires and sizing. I read the stickies, but I just have one question. I have a 2007 Mazda 6 Sport V6 (stock tires are 215/45 R18). The stickies show that 205/60 R16 would fit the 6, but would it fit a vehicle with OEM 18" wheels?

The size and speed accuracy are perfect between the two sizes listed above, I'm just wondering about the brakes, fitment, etc.

Thanks!

17" wheels will fit over the Mazdaspeed 6 brakes, which are larger than the brakes on the Mazda 6, so I assume 16" wheels would fit your car. You can confirm on TireRack's website-- go to the winter wheels+tires section to look for smaller wheel options.

Looking at TireRack, it gives the option of 17" & 16", it just seems too much to go from 18" stock to 16" winter (but again, I'm a tire noob )

16" is spot on for winters. Just get one of the cheap tire/wheel packages and store your stock wheels/tires for the season.
