Looking at getting some Enkei RPM2 17" rims in Hyper Black for my 2007 Mazda6 Touring Edition. They only weigh about 17 LBS versus the 21ish of the 17" stock. But I do have a couple of questions.

1) Can I just use my 17" tires off of my stock rims? I just bought the M6 and the tires only have about 700KM on them.

2) Does anyone make a Mazda emblem center cap that I can put onto these wheels to add more of an OEM touch?

3) Will these rims look hot on a M6 in Stormfront Grey metallic?

4) Where's the best place to buy them from in Canada?

thanx

Great choice! Your stock 17 inch tires will fit with no problem. I used to have these as my track wheels on my MS6 they looked great with my Titanium Grey colour but I have never seen Stormfront Grey, I assume it's darker. The centre caps (which were my least favourite part of the wheel) are held on by two little allen head screws so I doubt you'll find Mazda caps that fit. Also watch your offset, mine was +45 and they would rub in the rear when the suspension was loaded up. As for where to buy them I bought mine used and sold them for what I paid for them. I think tiretrends.com in Calgary sells Enkei.

Looks like they come in

17 x 7 5x114.3 38 Hyper Black C$ 315.95
17 x 7 5x114.3 45 Hyper Black C$ 269.95

so, which would be the best on a 6i and would the stock rubber fit both of these?

I'm also looking at these Kobe 5 Split rims. Alot cheaper, but not sure of the quality. They're 17x7 with a 40 offset.

Yeah I looked at those too. Love them> the only reason I did not go with them was they would not clear my brembo BBK.

Be careful with the lower offsets...You really need to stay above 40 on the offset or you will have some issuses with rubbing even if you're rolled. 45 and higher work best on the 6.

Love the wheels, keep the Enkei centercap.
