i've still been looking at rims for my car (lapis)...I am very interested in hearing what you all think about the rims i picked (opinions) and i'm also looking for a high performance tire to put on (suggestions), i'm looking at spending roughly 0-130 per tire so hopefully that can come into play a bit

So far i've picked out 3 rims

they are

Enkei Evo 5--17x7-ET42-hyperblack

5ZIGEN Fn01r-c--17x7 ET48-hyperblack OR anodized silver

Enkei Rs7--17x7-ET42-silver

as far as tires go, i'm clueless... i would much rather not roll the fenders, and i'm looking for something that grabs real good, to accentuate my new suspension parts...i'm going to be doing the majority of my driving in some areas where it does snow but nothing more than a couple of inches, im more concerned with wet grip more than the snow, because it rains not A TON but it does rain every1nce in a while

and last but not least...i hear ppl here slamming All-season tires b/c of their hindrance in the ability to stop, so im trying to stay away from those but given the description above are they needed???

Personally I would go with the Evo 5. Although because of the design it makes the wheel look smaller, I like it the best. I may jump on those (18" tho) if I can get over the universal lug thing.

As far as tires go, I am just as clueless as you.

gotta stick with 17's...dad says so, aren't parents just wonderful...but on the bright side 17's offer better tire selection and there a nice blend between performance and looks so im not overly ticked

I like the Enkei Evo 5--17x7-ET42-hyperblack (they look nice)

I got my tires from www.tire-easy.com ( I mean it's a good web)
I would recommend Toyo or BFGoodrich

Toyo Proxes 4 http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/reifenbestell...067&dsco=35
or Falken ZIEX S/TZ01 http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/reifenbestell...692&dsco=35
or Kumho ECSTA ASX KU-21 http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/reifenbestell...743&dsco=35

I mean especially, like the Toyo proxes 4 (they look beautiful), but this is my opinion, hope this helps

Okay i checked some other web sites
here is what I found (ultra high performance tires)
Michelin Pilot XGT Z4 (i am not a big fan of Michelin)
Dunlop SP Sport 5000 (i personaly like those and the price is around $110, not bad)

check out the web http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/TireTe...000+Symmetrical
