Not sure how or when this happened but my drivers side front lock nut is stripped. Any idea how to get it off?

^^^ Yup. Bolt out is the way to go. I had a stripped drain plug on my motorcycle, used that, and the bolt came right out.

Edit: I just reread. This is the nut that has to use the key?

My hubby tends to strip off a lot of bolts so he went and bought that Bolt Off kit and it works really good... But he hasn't used it on a lug nut... You could call the place where you are gonna purchase it and ask them before you purchase...

I went to a firestone dealer and they removed and replaced all 4 of my stripped locking lug nuts for $20.

nope. It is not a problem right now, just something I noticed when I went to rotate my tires. I'll deal with it tomorrow.
