Understood. Your preachin to the choir there! I have seen some great powdercoated wheels lately so I would go that route.
Last great powercoat work Ive seen was on a canadian member who is now selling his ride. He has RX8 wheels that were powerdercoated nicely. I'll post a pic if I can find it. ![]() Good luck!

j/ remember that when you powdercoat, it's recommanded to sandblast/bead blast or glass blast your wheels...
so that the powder/paint adhere better to the raw alloy... some have powdercoat over the existing paint...but i can tell you down the road, it will not last as long..... i had my RX8 wheels sandblasted/powdercoated, outcome isn't perfect...but still adore the finished product. i think bronze wheels looks hot on black..but i prefer the "dark gun metal-bronze" not the "copper bronze" OP posted |

The bronze look certainly is different and I think will make your 6 stand out... So go for it...
