ok so at my local rims dealer i wanted to order some toyo proxes 4 for my car but the sales men keeps telling me to get nitto but ive never heard of them so with others opinions i would like some suggestions go with toyo proxes 4 or get some nitto's? now i do not know what kind of nitto's so please dont ask! thanks in advance

If you're gonna go with Nittos then get the NT555. Those are equal to if not better than the Proxes 4. I have them and am more than happy with the performance of them and the look of them.

if they're similar grip, check the reviews, treadwear (not the ratings so much, more on reviews), weight and pricing, and go from there

id go with the toyos. i know a bunch of bimmer drivers that replace the stockers with the proxes 4's (known as TP4's to them) lol

i had a set of toyo fz4's on one of my older cars and they were junk. dunno about the proxes 4, the look nice. but ive heard way more about the nitto nt555 being a great tire. most of my buddies run them on their 350Z's.

The short version is, Nitto is made by Toyo. The Nitto equivalent of the Proxes4 is the NeoGen.
