There are some scratches on my OEM 17" rims. I'm looking around the web, there are a whole bunch of silver spray paint, but none are specific Mazda "OEM" paint color.

There are Dupli-Color High Performance Silver, Einszett Silver Wheel (they said this matches most European alloy silver), VHT Argent Silver Wheel paint. There are probably many more. Out of these though, the Dupli-Color Silver is definitely the easiest to obtain, since it's in my local auto store for $6. Anyone know how well the Duplicolor matches the color, metallic texture, and flake to our OEM? Thanks.

Yeah, I just did this a couple of weeks ago. I went to Pep Boys and paid $5 or $6 for the silver paint pen. Look in the catalog under Mazda and the year. I forget the actual name of the color, but it's the only Silver listed. The body color silver and the OEM wheel color silver are the same. It worked really good for me. Also, since Ford is part owner of Mazda, you'll see that it's a stock silver color for Ford as well. The paint pen also has a small brush in it as well. Good luck.

I gotta update this post and say that the Duplicolor Ultra Silver T191 is NOT a good color match. Please do NOT buy this paint color to replicate OEM 17" rim color. I will post pictures soon.

Aside from the paint color, how are you going to "smooth" or repair the road rash on your wheel. I have some too, and I wasn't sure what to use. Bondo may work, but I never used it on wheels. What are you using? Thanks

I follow the link on the autopia website. I was SO CLOSE in getting all the nice even surface! However, the T191 paint was WAY OFF! It is actually darker than stock 17". I end up messing up everything trying to take off the mismatched paint. Will post a write up tonight when I download pics from my camera.

I tried the T191 and ended up repainting the entire face of the wheel,
