You'll be good... those tires are undersized...

What wheels are you looking at?

I run 17x8+45 with 235/45/17 tires. You'll need to roll the rear fenders to avoid damaging the tires, but it will definitely fit.

235 tires are not undersized for an 8-inch rim. They'll provide a good balance between comfort and performance. If you went 245, you'd have a lot more sidewall flex and your turn-in wouldn't be as sharp.

I run a 17x8 Kosei K1-TS, Very light wheel only about 14-15lbs with a 45mm offset, I have 235/40R17 Hankook RS2 Z212.

They rears you need to roll to avoid any trouble with alot of passengers and hard turns, otherwise they fit very well!

Why would have 245's cause more sidewall flex? isn't the height of the side wall the determining factor to the amount of sidewall flex?

btw, i run 235/45-17's on 17x8 +48mm offset. One of the best combo for the 6. It'll fix, but like everyone have already stated, you're going to need to roll your rear fenders.

The construction of the tire is the main factor in sidewall flex. Those big suckers on the Kenworth big-rig trucks have really tall sidewalls and hardly flex at all.

Back to reality: a tire's aspect ratio is the sidewall height divided by the section width. It follows, therefore, that within a given aspect ratio (here, 45-series tires) the wider the section width, the taller the sidewall.
