I've heard of a couple people putting RX-7 wheels on regular 6's, will they fit a MS6? I'm assuming they won't clear our calipers, but figured I would ask anyway. I'm tired of looking at our rediculously heavy 18's, and would like a light, inexpensive set of wheels to replace them, mostly for future autoX events.

are you talking fd3s rims or fc3s rims? i thought fd rims were 17x8's for some reason...

i have some 16x7 s5 tII rims at home, but iirc 16's won't fit due to brake clearance issues.

I have no first hand knowledge, but I strongly believe they will not fit. 17" wheels barely fit over the calipers.

FD wheels, I'm pretty sure they won't fit, but just thought I would ask. I also hate paying for 18" tires, lol.

FD wheels DO NOT FIT. I tried, even after everyone said they wouldn't

First hand knowledge is always the best...

On a side note, they DO FIT the MS3...

yeah to my knowledge ms6 only fit min of 17's but i guess there are some people who say certain 16's fit. i guess it depends on the inner rim design.

the 16's will definitely not clear the calipers, but the FD came out with a few other rims of 17x8 and 17x8.5, both with +50 offset, with my favorite being the BBS meshies off a 02 RX7 Spirit R:

my second fav are the BBS meshies of an RX7 RZ

And, my 3rd fav set are efini 17x8 rims:

Unfortunately, these rims are ridiculously expensive and hard to get your hands on..
