You want street tyres? I'd go with the Hankook RS2 Z212's. They are affordable and grippy

There is more than one type of racing. What might be good for drag racing may not be best for track racing.
But then again, you are the same person that made all the weird posts about wanting a bigger turbo and all kinds of other stuff without offering any details.

+1 on those, very similar tire to the Falken RT-615. They have more heat resistance than most tires, which you will need with this porker. The Rs2's are more biased for track use then street use, soft sticky compound, they might last 10K.

i might have to try those after my falkens run out...

any direct comparisons? grip-wise?

just from a view-of-tread standpoint, they look more like the falken fk452's... but... yeah, so anyone used them before and is able to compare between the falken rt-615's?

So your saying that i should get the Falken's RT-615 because the will last me longer for street use?

Only $1K+ per set.

No, they both are going to last about the same, less than 10K of street use. Based on the reports on the Miata.net forum, the Hankooks are more tolerant of heat, the Falkens may have the edge in handling, but not by much.
