This may sound dumb... but I want my OEM 17" Mazda wheels' center caps on my new aftermarket wheels.
They are already mounted, and the shop put in the new caps. I popped one of the caps off of the OEM wheel, but it seems to be a little more difficult to get the cap off while the wheel is mounted. Are these things all a standard size and fit? Will the OEM caps stay in properly and is there an easy way to get the new ones off of the new wheels without removing the wheel? Thanks.

Forget it.
I just spoke with someone at the mechanic's place and was told that the reason they didn't put the OEM caps on was that they were just a little bit different and wouldn't fit. Wah. Drove around today for a bit and everything felt good. I was looking at the boxes that they were shipped in and noticed that the shipping weight was 15lbs. Is that possible? I thought that cheap wheels were unlikely to be lighter than 20lbs? Seems like most that I've been reading about were 18-21lbs and that didn't include the shipping materials (that are probably about a pound).

Actual wheel weight is taboo.

I think there are decals designed to go over the aftermarket center cap, I know I've seen a few on ebay. Anyone use them?
