I'm not going to be trying them out but posting in case anybody is interested. If you've got scratched or marked up spokes this might be a good temporary or semi-permanent way to cover the damage and avoid costly refinishing (and mounting and balancing). Also could be a way to check out whether you want the chromed wheel look or not before spending the big bucks to chrome them.
