i'm thinking really hard about ordering the split 5 spoke racing hart wheels that were optional for this car. does anyone first of all have any pictures of the wheels installed on their car? secondly, are they as light as they claim to be? i'm going with these right now because my dealership offers the free tires for life program, and i think if i were t oshow up with anything other than these or the stock wheels, they would deny me my two more free sets of tires....and that would make my nana sad. these wheels look tasteful, are definently easier to clean, and will probably look good if i decide to polish the small lip on them and powdercoat them gold, green, pink, whatever. anyone able to help me out?

Are you sure they are Racing Harts, or are they Rays?

I know Rays manufactures a Mazdaspeed wheel.

..and they are made by Rays so I believe they are as light as they claim - they make even lighter weight wheels.

What are the specs on these wheels? From what I've seen so far they are 18x.75" but any idea on the offset? Rays are an excellent wheel so you can't go wrong. I have them on my other car from the factory and they are light as heck. What is the going rate for these wheels nowadays? If they are up there in price you might want to look at some of the monoblock volks as well as alternatives in the styling department.

the real reason im looking at these is because theyre more or less a factory option, so i won't catch flack from the dealer when its time to get my free set of tires. the pics in the photoshop thread are so tempting though...

fedinand- thanks a lot for the link bro

edit: those wheels look sick. they may not be the cheapest or lightest or best looking, but they seem like the most convienant for me. now lal i have to do is polish up the lip and decide what color i should paint em...

pm sent.

just a quick stupid question: i'll be able to use different lugs with these correct? i'm thinking polished lip, gold powdercoat, maybe blue...takata green? and some crimson anodized lightweight lug nuts...

either way i want some lugs that aren't the stock polished. feasible right?
