I am looking at replacing my tires and have narrowed it down to these three tires.

I have 215/50/17's on right now and am looking to shift to 225/45/17's on the stock 17" rims.

Could someone please give me their suggestions on not only which Tire I should go with, but also how they feel about the Tire sizing? I really appreciate any input. Thanks.

i cant speak for the Fuzions, but the kumhos and the falkens are both good. i think the kumhos might be a little stickier. thats what i'm running now. both the falkens and kumhos are relatively quiet on the freeway which is why i mainly went with the kumhos. i think they're pretty even and i think it boils down to personal preference and which tread design you like better.

Which tire out of the Kumho and the Falken do you think would get better tread life?

whichever has the higher treadwear rating?

I've had both the Kumho SPT and the Fuzion ZRi but not on the same car so it's hard to give a real comparison but I was very happy with both. The SPT is an awesome street tire. Even with the 285's I had there was no hydroplaning and no drama when going thu puddles that had been big problems with the old tires.

lol, its funny cuz im the source of those SPTs. in all honesty man, im buying a set of 225/50/16 tires once my set of 225/55s are finished, and im getting a set of the Kumhos. my current 55's are bfgoodrich g-force sports, another UHP summer tire like the SPT. i was that impressed with the SPT compared to the g-force sports that im actually trying to wear out my BFGs faster so i can get the SPTs.

the Ziex512 is an all season tire, so its not really fair to compare it with the ZRi and SPT, which are summer tires.

edit:

you understand that treadwear rating is not a universal indicator right? treadwear rating is manufacturer specific, meaning a 320 treadwear rating for michelin isn't the same as a 320 treadwear rating for hankook. it gives a general idea of how long they last, yes, but 280-340 treadwear ratings will usually give you the best bang for the buck concerning street tires. and remember, a higher treadwear rating means that the compound isn't going to stick as well, which is why it lasts "longer."

Thanks for the input "Business," as you can see I am still interested in your Kumho tires, just been doing some research before I make a final decision.

The Falken ZE329's I had wore stupid fast on my Neon, you may want to really investigate wear reports on those Falkens.

I had the Fuzion ZRi's on my wife's Focus and they were great when new and not terribly expensive. Wet weather traction was great and snow traction was pretty good. After 10k miles however they got so noisy we actually traded the car!

I currently have the Falken tires on my Mazda6 and I like them alot. I have the Kumho's on my wife's protege5 and they seem to have a more quiet ride.
