I've done my searching and research and all indicators show that Tire Rack is mistaken BUT they have such a good track record that I wanted to take the chance at being beaten up on a thread to get some feedback.

I'm looking at a tire and wheel setup from Tire Rack and they are telling me that the rear fenders will need to be rolled. The wheels are 18x7 +45mm offset. The tires are Avon 225/45/18. The vehicle is a 2006 MazdaSpeed 6 that is bone stock. Comments? Thanks!

i think you'll need a roll. on a 48 offset you'd be ok, on 45, your pushin it hard, youll probably need one.

I think you should go with the roll. Just in case.

If you go with 215/45/18, you will not have to roll. I have 215/45/18 with a 45mm offset and no rubbing even with people in the back seat...
